Supercars 2017: Your guide to the grid

The 2017 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship gets underway this weekend with the Clipsal 500 on the city streets of Adelaide in South Australia.

V8X Supercar Magazine issue #97 is your must-have guide to the new season, including full-field driver profiles, team-by-team changes and event previews.

Below is a rundown of the team and driver changes for the 2017 season in addition to the list of entries in pitlane order. Please note: since the publication of issue #97, Taz Douglas has been confirmed as the driver of the #3 Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport entry in Adelaide as opposed to the published Andre Heimgartner. Also, Erebus Motorsport's Dale Wood has changed numbers from the published #4 to #99.

TEAM CHANGES:

- Triple Eight becomes the sole Holden factory team. Its two Red Bull entries are now called the Red Bull Holden Racing Team.

- Walkinshaw Racing loses factory Holden status and the Holden Racing Team name.

- Jason Bright's Britek license replaces Super Black Racing's at Prodrive Racing Australia.

- Super Black Racing is out of the series, selling its license to Tim Blanchard.

- Tim Blanchard's license replaces the Prodrive Racing Australia-bound Britek entry at Brad Jones Racing.

- Garry Rogers Motorsport switches from Volvo S60s to Holden VF Commodores.

DRIVER CHANGES:

- Scott McLaughlin moves from Garry Rogers Motorsport to DJR Team Penske.

- Scott Pye moves from DJR Team Penske to Walkinshaw Racing.

- Garth Tander moves from Walkinshaw Racing to Garry Rogers Motorsport.

- Nick Percat moves from Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport to Brad Jones Racing.

- Jason Bright moves from Brad Jones Racing to Prodrive Racing Australia.

- Simona de Silvestro joins Nissan Motorsport.

- Dale Wood moves from Nissan Motorsport to Erebus Motorsport.

- Alex Rullo moves from the Dunlop Development Series to Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport.
