Holding on: Manufacturers in Supercars


The Virgin Australia Supercars Championship is back to having two manufacturers providing factory funding in 2017, five years into the Car of the Future era and in the first year of Gen2.

They are the two Holden-backed Red Bull Racing Australia entries of Triple Eight Race Engineering, now with the Holden Racing Team name, and four Nissan Motorsport entries.

So what's the future of manufacturers in the series?
