When Big Hair said, "I've lined you up a quickie with Sarah Jane", I thought all my Christmases had come at once. But then he continued: "Sarah Jane is the new V8X columnist and I need you to introduce her". Anyway, she does look good drinking a coffee!

Sarah Jane doesn't need a last name. She is just Sarah Jane, the most downloaded woman on the Internet. The woman who made the Chiko Roll cool again, a motor racing junkie and a woman who leaves men salivating in her wake.

She is also now a very successful business woman via her website (www.sarahjane.com.au - 'no nudity', it declares) and her modelling. She has a personality that is just busting to get out of that gorgeous body, that is why you'll also hear her on Triple M soon.

"The website is only 11 months old, I broke the Guinness Book of Records record this year as the most downloaded woman on the Internet. It was interesting; I had every intention of breaking that record from the minute I set it up. It has been really good, I didn't even know how to turn a computer on a year ago, now I know about java scripting and html coding and all that.

"If you take the time to go through it, there's so much more than just the pictures. But obviously the pictures are the most popular part because you guys are all perverts."

There's no retort for that line, but now she is turning her gaze on you.

"I felt there was room for a position for me at V8X," she said, "I've had a love of motorsport for years - my dad used to race cars (no, her dad is not Bob Jane, Jane isn't her surname) so maybe that is where it came from.

"But I've had a fixation with V8s from a young child, I used to have dreams about panel vans and all sorts of things," now my mind is ticking over, I had the same dreams. "So I've been following it for years, I love the sport, the people and the cars and I thought it was time a chick wrote a column in this magazine."

Sarah Jane's column - A Quickie With Sarah Jane - invites readers to email questions to her (sarahjane@v8x.com.au) on any topic people feel comfortable with. "I am open to anyone writing anything, I think it will be more about a love column, or chick tips, or whatever they want. It is nothing overly serious, it is just a bit of fun."

What are her triggers? She says that her body just keeps itself tuned, she's not a gym junkie or anything but just looks after herself and watches what she eats. Other than that it is music, cars, dogs, family and friends.

"I am really passionate about my music, I love my rock music. I was in a band for a couple of years, I tinker about with some songs with a few musos... if the singing takes off it does, but it is just something I enjoy.

"I do have a big thing for cars and bikes, I am part of the Williamstown Motorcycle Club and I enjoy being involved in that. I am very passionate about charity work too, I am heavily involved in that.

"I love my dog, his name is Baby and he has his own section on the website - he's got his own little glamour section."

But you won't see Baby in the new calendar, which Sarah Jane says is very much about her - subtly sexy and very raw. "There's a shot in there where I'd been on a motorcycle trip for 11 days with a group of guys, and I hadn't showered for five days when that shot was taken."

She's not your typical glam girl, so get those emails rolling in for Sarah Jane and she'll answer a selection of questions in the pages of V8X. I thought I'd try her out for you and sought some advice, and if nothing else she had me wrapped around her little finger.
