Pantera, please!

How about making it cheaper to get into the pits, and bring back free entry on Fridays. Ask Channel Seven to use some better music too – no more Bad Charlotte and Avril, more Pantera! Went to Bathurst on the weekend; I’ve only missed a couple since 1993 – it’s the best, and I’m already counting down to 2008. Go Skaifey!

More coverage

The print media coverage (ie daily/weekend papers) is far from satisfactory; it’s sub-standard in both quantity and quality. A major focus needs to be on bringing this up to an acceptable level.

There is also nowhere near enough information on what is happening between rounds with the teams and drivers.

There also should be more coverage at the start of the year, for team livery and driver lineups, rules etc.

Passing opportunity

I have followed the Touring Car/V8 Supercar racers for over 45 years, and I am very pleased with the current series in most areas. My only issue is the lack of overtaking chances at the smaller tracks in the sprint rounds, where V8 drivers are not able to show off their great skills.
