Holden has the plot

In response to LJ’s and Paul’s letters (V8X#42), I reckon you are both idiots. First of all, Holden is not losing the plot, and ‘V6 Supercars’? What the f#@k! If we’re gonna go to V6 turbocharged engines and a tubular chasis, why not go back to the Group A days? Except this time the Jap-crap brands would get their arses kicked.

Yeah, Holden really is losing the plot. It has won 22 out of 29 races (Ed: this tally has since changed) this year! Idiot. Maybe Toll did make a silly brake package decision on the Mountain but so what? Not to mention Triple Eight proved you need to have AA drivers in the enduros to have a chance of winning. Wake up. Just because Holden has one bad weekend doesn’t mean that it is losing the plot. What happened at Indy? Tander struck back. Go GT!

Marcus woz robbed!

Why was Marcus Marshall black flagged for bad sportsmanship in race two at Symmons Plains? I thought the idea of racing was to go out and race against each other to see who wins? There are drivers trying their hardest to prove to teams and sponsors they are worthy of their spots. This doesn’t mean the four drivers vying for the championship should get the right of way when it comes to racing. Why should Garth Tander be given the right to pass freely when he and Marcus were racing on the same lap and vying for 12th and 13th place? It wasn’t like Marcus was a lap down or anything. Come on, give everybody the right to race, not just the guys racing for the championship. What’s the use of being out there if it’s not fair racing. By the way, great job V8X for such a fantastic mag, keep up the good work.
