July 9, 2004 - Ford Performance Racing (FPR) has released the team's
first photo book, titled "FPR In Focus - Images of Season 2003".
Featuring a glossy selection of exhilarating action and general team
images taken during the team's inaugural V8 Supercar season, FPR In Focus -
Images of Season 2003 contains 100 images across 50 glossy pages.
The FPR V8 Supercar action images captured by team photographer Justin
Deeley are featured in chronological order, while the book also provides an
insight of the people behind FPR, including 2003 season drivers Craig
Lowndes, Glenn Seton and David Besnard.
Destined to become a collector's item for blue oval racing fans, the
limited edition FPR In Focus - Images of Season 2003 photo book is available
now for the value price of $30.00 from the FPR Race Centre merchandise outlet
located at Performance Drive, Campbellfield.
FPR In Focus - Images of Season 2003 will also be available from the team's
on track merchandise outlets. Fans will also be able to order the team's
official photo book on line at www.fpv.com.au
According to FPR Managing Director David Flint, "Our new photo book gives
race fans a memento of our inaugural season and reflects on the achievements
of 2003. It tells the story of the creation of a new major blue oval V8
Supercar team, the high profile people and those who worked behind the scenes
to make it happen, in images. We have selected the most descriptive and
exciting images of the season for the book and we hope that racing fans enjoy
it as much as we did in producing it."
FPR in Focus - Images of Season 2003 also features a full listing of all
2003 Team FPR members on the inside front cover, along with a detailed
summary of all three FPR Falcon drivers' 2003 season results round by round
across the final two pages.
Performance car enthusiasts have not been forgotten with a special two
page section at the rear of the book featuring superb images of the three
Ford Performance Vehicle (FPV) models released during 2003 to wide media
and motorist acclaim. The inclusion of action and static images of the FPV
GT, GT-P and Pursuit models in this photo book further promotes the intrinsic
total performance link that exists between FPR and FPV.
